Crash Ensemble commission new work by Daniel Figgis

Daniel Figgis is writing a new work for Crash Ensemble. His work for Crash Ensemble will be premiered as part of Crash’s 2012 programme.

The work in 23 interlacing sections is written for the full ensemble (10 players) plus tape.

We are thrilled that the ever-inventive Daniel Figgis will be writing a piece for us.  We have been fans of his since we first heard his wonderful album, Skipper, and are excited to discover what he will invent for us. Donnacha Dennehy, Artistic Director, Crash Ensemble.

Figgis’ new work for Crash Ensemble was commissioned using funds provided by the Arts Council of Ireland.
